The Team....

Denny Carr, Manager, President (World's Best dad)

Denny Carr started in the kitchen business in 1969. His formal training is Architectural Drafting, but in his words, "I can't sit still that long." His dad was a founding partner of Quality Kitchens, and Denny went to work there right out of college. He started with installations, and later did all the design work for the sales force.

He moved out of the family business to "prove his worth" on his own. He has managed showrooms in Charlotte, Myrtle Beach, and Springfield, managed the installed kitchen business for the Moore's Lumber Stores, and most recently managed a showroom in Lynchburg for one of the top 5 cabinet manufacturers and is now back home.

He and his wife, Helen, purchased Kitchen and Bath Gallery in September of 2004, and immediately moved the business into the building that had housed Quality Kitchens. In fact, they chose the legal name, Quality Kitchens, LLC dba Kitchen and Bath Gallery.

Helen Carr,  World's Best mom

Helen has spent her life doing what Denny refers to as "the important work": raising their kids and being a terrific grandmother. Denny says that keeping him fed, clothed and happy is definitely a full time job in itself. Now, suddenly after 40 years of marriage, she finds herself working in the office almost every day.

She is learning the kitchen business, not from behind the apron, but in the office and showroom. Although, there are days you will find her cooking in their complete working kitchen display preparing an entire meal. Stop by and she just may feed you!

  Chris Carr, Designer / Salesperson

Chris has inherited his dad's knack for design and his understanding of plans. During their time in Myrtle Beach, Chris worked under the owner of Signature Kitchens doing his design work, while his dad managed the business for the owner.

Chris was recognized at an early age for his design ability with an award winning design for a home in Florence, SC. The South Carolina state builder magazine chose the home for its project of the month. In those days, the drawings were drawn by hand, without the help of a computer.

When Denny and Helen made the decision to purchase Kitchen and Bath Gallery, Chris was quick to follow. He gave up a solid career with the Auto Zone chain as a successful store manager having 11 years invested in the company.

Chris has his dad's work ethnic. His dad refers to him as "a throw-back to the old days", when your word was really worth something and you did the work and the raises followed later.
